Retailers to Gather in Nashville for Biggest Three-Day Event

ENGLEWOOD, Colo., April 22, 2005 - EchoStar Communications Corporation (NASDAQ: DISH) will host its 2005 Team Summit satellite TV retailer conference under the theme "Mission: DISH," highlighting the company's goal to put a satellite dish in every U.S. home. Nearly 3,000 DISH Network™ retailers from across the nation will gather in Nashville, Tenn., April 28 - May 1 for the Summit, the biggest in DISH Network's history. Special attractions include Grammy award winning legend Reba McEntire, the Improv All-Stars, country music sensation Rascal Flatts and motivational speaker Jeffrey Gitomer.

Chief Executive Officer Charles Ergen will share his vision of satellite TV's future at the eighth annual Team Summit, a three-day event that educates retailers about DISH Network satellite TV equipment and services and improves their ability to serve their communities.

Held at the Gaylord Opryland Hotel in Nashville, the Team Summit Tech Expo will display consumer electronics products and marketing services from nearly 120 vendors nationwide. The conference will also feature training sessions on topics such as High Definition TV, International Programming, Video on Demand, Interactive Television, digital video recording, commercial TV sales opportunities and service and installation.
